They have promoted research and development in various fields in parallel with manufacturing of pyrotechnics and temperature indicating materials and other products. Nichiyu Giken Kogyo Co. Ltd. was fully financed and established by NOF Corporation in December 1980. Inheriting the know-how accumulated by Teikoku Pyrotechnics Manufacture Co., Ltd., which had lasted from 1938 to 1970, and that of NOF Corporation, Kawagoe Plant which succeeded it.
