The vast ocean covers over two thirds of Earth, and there is so much yet to explore. Ocean Networks Canada offers a unique portal to this undersea universe through high-resolution cameras streaming live video of rarely seen subsea life, and seafloor hydrophones capturing the sounds of the deep—from marine mammals to earthquakes.
Our mission is to share these mysteries of the ocean with everyone who seeks a greater understanding of our blue planet. Scientists, educators, students and citizens from around the world; people of all ages and cultures and languages.
Over this past year you’ve visited from 145 countries — Costa Rica to Kuwait, Nigeria to Norway, Serbia to South Korea—to watch over one hundred videos and undersea audio clips posted on our website, YouTube and Vimeo channels.
