Communications Manager, Communications
Leslie Elliott is the Manager of Communications at Ocean Networks Canada (ONC). In this leadership role, Leslie is responsible for consistent and clear messaging and brand implementation. She manages a team of communications and marketing professionals who are tasked with raising the national and international profile and brand recognition of ONC. The team aligns their activities with ONC’s organization-wide, multi-year communications and marketing plan to engage a host of creative communications and marketing products and services that promote ONC’s unique capabilities to a host of key audiences and stakeholders.
Before joining ONC, Leslie spent 12 years at The Banff Centre in Alberta, where her roles included program coordinator, office manager, and executive assistant to both the management and arts programming areas. At The Banff Centre, she played a key role in supporting international collaborative projects in a cross-disciplinary environment that included relationship-building with financial supporters from both the private and public sectors.
Leslie earned her honors degree in Business from Carleton University in 1982. Over her diverse career, she has worked in hospitality, customer service, office management and administration, marketing and communications, as well as various entrepreneurial ventures.
