Visiting Scientist, Science Services
Sarika Cullis-Suzuki started as visiting scientist with Ocean Networks Canada in January 2014, after returning from the UK to live in Victoria, British Columbia. At Ocean Networks Canada, she is working on detecting fish vocalizations in longterm acoustic datasets, as well as contributing to ocean outreach. She is also currently finishing up her Ph.D., which looks at the effects of boat noise on the Plainfin midshipman, a highly vocal fish found along the shores of British Columbia. Her degree is with the University of York, UK. She is thrilled to be surrounded by such a diverse and enthusiastic team of researchers at Ocean Networks Canada.
