Learning Events

Ocean Networks Canada's learning team has established 3 flagship events that encourage students, educators and the public to better understand the ocean, its influence on us and our influence on it. Through these 3 annual events we have inspired educators to teach about the ocean; encouraged high school students to pursue a degree in marine science and technology; assisted post secondary graduates to get a meaningful position in the work force; and established connections between the ocean the general public.

Beyond these flagship events, we are keen to participate in local and regional events like workshops, festivals, and teacher pro-D- days. If you are planning an event and would like Ocean Networks Canada Learning team to be present, please contact us.
