Opening in 1955, the BC Maritime Museum (BCMM) has been a treasure within the City of Victoria; making the former Supreme Court Building in Bastion Square its home. The museum has engaging exhibits, retelling the history of BC’s nautical roots, the Royal Canadian Navy, and the famous marine adventures of 3 sailboats –the Dorothy, Trekka and Tilikum. Not to mention the museum’s collection of historical documents, pictures, library and outstanding nautical charts. ONCCEE is collaborating with the Museum to bring a new dynamic to the current exhibits – ocean science! ONCCEE is assisting in the creation of an ocean science exhibit and the development of educational resources for the museum.
