Mar 18 to Apr 18, 2020, 4:41pm - 4:42pm

The safety and health of our staff, user community, and stakeholders are of the utmost importance to us.

As a national and international, science-driven organization, Ocean Networks Canada (ONC), is following the recommendations of the provincial health officer and the Government of Canada to limit the spread of COVID-19 by moving business operations remotely (where practical), limiting face-to-face activities, and non-essential travel.

ONC continues to support all our essential services, including observatory maintenance, operational support, and 24/7 data delivery from the ocean via the Internet.

We will do our best to continue with other commitments, where possible, by exploring opportunities to offer training and engagement opportunities via teleconference, video, and other online tools. We will keep you informed of updates to upcoming events and activities as we adjust.

All digital communications will remain the same—website at, social media, e-newsletter, direct email, and phone access are all available.

From all of us at Ocean Networks Canada, we wish you the best in navigating through these uncertain times.
