Instrument Description
Flow meter
Flow meters are sensors that quantify the rate at which fluids (e.g. water or air) pass through sensor packages, instruments or sampling devices.
When sea water flows through the magnetic field of the flow meter, the voltage induced is proportional to the velocity of the flow. It is accurately measured by two stainless steel electrodes mounted opposite each other inside the metering pipe.
