Lynn Rannankari is a Staff Scientist with ONC, specializing in bioacoustics with the passive acoustics team. She holds a MSc. from the University of Victoria, where her research focused on using passive acoustic methods to examine the habitat and ecology of marine mammals over various temporal and spatial scales. Prior to and throughout her graduate studies, she worked on a variety of acoustic projects with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) supporting initiatives to mitigate underwater noise in the Salish Sea and understand marine mammal species distribution in British Columbia waters.
