Big Blue and You
Big Blue and You is ONC’s professional development series that assists educators in bringing ocean science into classrooms. The content is best suited to middle and high school educators, but all levels of educators are welcome to participate. The workshop content has been developed by certified BC teachers in collaboration with school districts and local Indigenous knowledge holders.

ONC and the Royal BC Museum have teamed up to provide orca-related resources and a professional development session for educators. Explore the playlist which promotes ocean literacy and demonstrates how we are all connected to the ocean and have a responsibility to protect it for the future.
Through the species lens of orcas, learners will deepen their understanding of the ocean, and improve their ability to communicate and make informed decisions about the ocean and its resources.
