It’s been a busy year at sea for Ocean Networks Canada, with over five expeditions to support ocean science research in the coastal waters off southern BC.
Between October 20 and 27, Ocean Networks Canada is conducting the year’s last scheduled maintenance expedition to service VENUS observatory installations in Saanich Inlet and the Strait of Georgia.
Instrument platform is redeployed after servicing aboard CCGS Vector.
Aboard the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Vector, the engineering team headed by project engineer Paul Macoun will be working once again with Canpac Divers and the ROV Oceanic Explorer.
To follow operations and activities on board the Vector, visit the daily logs and cruise status at Wiring the Abyss 2013.
