#ONCabyss Summer 2026 Expedition: Leg 2

Ocean Networks Canada’s #ONCabyss ocean expedition continues with leg 2 aboard Canpac Marine Services’ motor vessel (M/V) Canpac Valour. Join ONC in the northeast Pacific Ocean, off the west coast of Vancouver Island from August 19 to 28, 2026 to service the North East Pacific Time-series Undersea Networked Experiments (NEPTUNE) observatory. The at-sea team will be sailing to NEPTUNE’s Endeavour, Barkley Canyon, and Clayoquot sites to recover and deploy scientific instruments using the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Mantis.
